Many people are unaware of the health benefits of antioxidants and thus consume foods with little or no nutritious value. A simple diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables can increase your health and lower the risk of diseases such as cancer, heart disease, etc. Antioxidants has been an important topic in biotechnology, since research companies are currently searching for ways to increase antioxidant levels in foods and plants.
